    My first commission

So far everything I've drawn has been fooling around. I recently got a 'commission' from someone. She asked if I could draw an Iris so I drew one. I used a reference but that's all.

The last time I kept an open mind,
my brain fell out and the dog grabbed it.
Now it's full of dirt, toothmarks, and dog slobber.
No more open minds or dogs for me.www.gms9810.com/

Well, it's not a money making type commission, it was just a request.

No matter about cash on the barrel head. I don't think anybody ever asked me to give them anything I did all through school, even my mom. And in school I had to pay the instructors to ask me to do work, homework to be sure, but it was the only place anyone wanted me to do anything at all until I started hammering on doors with portfolio in hand, doing little jobs. It wasn't nearly so gratifying as having someone ask for you to do a work of art for them because they expect it to be beautiful, which yours decidedly is!

Just look at those petals! Fantastic! Rich color. Delicate detail. Good form. Really nice that. You really delivered and have a big win in the art column, chum. Something to be proud of.

    Go George Go!!!!!!!!!

I just used the term because it made me feel like somebody. Everything else has been a doodle, this was actually serious project for a real person. For that reason I put more attention to it.

    Nice touch

Nice delicate feel about the image, that's important for a flower.
I have a personally designed artwork gallery website at: www.stephenlopiano.com
There is one section full of pages there under the Digital Artwork category that is devoted entirely to paintings I have created with Art Rage.
