    Long haired guitarist

Drew this on my ipad whilst watching the musician play her guitar on The Emerald Princess sailing to Gibralter

I can picture you sitting quietly there, working away. Very well done for an on-the-spot painting!

Very cool image. Not taking into account what you said above, I just ran with my impression of the picture. You're right of course, but this is where I went with it:

I like the somewhat unconventional and inventive sketchy style. It feels spontaneous enough to make it feel like you were directly in front of the guitarist, and thus so do we. I hear guitar music, like in an open mic night or other small venue, or maybe just listening to someone play at home. But the direct facing pose makes it feel interactive -- as if you are capturing or are inspired by their music and they are likewise capturing your creative energy as well, just knowing you're there. Like an inspiration passing back and forth. Nice!

    Cool Spot on

Great analysis, I was exactly opposite the musician about 15ft from her as she played a mixture of popular and classic tunes, it was very enjoyable and for me it is a great holiday memory. Cheers
