Anyway, maybe there's still some sort of ancestral memory and subconscious drivesinstead, which made me refer to Othello or rather to Moorish raiders and pirates kidnapping girls and slaughtering people with their raids in Southern Italy. We tend to criticize crusades and often forget what was (and still is being) done the other way.
