    Three versions of a river

I admire the romantic painters of the XIX century. They did not have the freshness of the Impressionists but they took a big step in the landscape art.

I made three quick versions of a misty landscape. It could be the evolution of a river.

    Greetings to all.

    Hello...
These are great, really like them! To me it's more of a evolution of the city then the river...in my mind I have rearranged the second painting, minus the railing as the first..the first one, minus railing as second and of course the last one with the railing as the city in the future, or how it exist today.
Vey nice, really enjoyed seeing them...
    Take care,
    Steve
And yes, you have captured the feel of Impressionist artist of the past....

Very dreamlike. Love the mark making both soft and sharp. Nice contrast between them.
