Caesar....Very cleverly done my friend, reminds me of a sixties seventies magazine cover...
maybe a gentleman's monthly...'the 'Art Edition.....'Brigette visits the Museum' and discovers
seeing the paintings up close and personal is much more of a satisfying experience. Brings to
mind the Norman Rockwell covers of people in unique and comical situations...

Girls love a man in uniform. . . Very fun painting, Caesar! Not quite sure what your intention was, since these things often come from you based on something that was said in the forums, but this is a very cool image. For me it speaks of the allure of pictures, only this time it's the girl who is falling for the pic of the heroic lad in full regalia -- from very different times I would imagine by her casual outfit compared with his formality.

Thank You, dear Gary! Hard to keep frostbitten for a past time guy, even if just as a painted portrait, when a gorgeous lady with a tight/ short dress is facing him (well to face isn't the right word). I was probably taken by a surrealistic vein, You know, a brush-frozen world encapsuled taking life in another world and time, real world and art as similarly illusory and so on ...

Norman Rockwell! That is certainly a constant inspiration for me, dear Steve, a main presence in my illustration masters pantheon and one of the mirages I would like to get close to, in a thousand years maybe. I was probably wrong to use a small size (almost impossible to finely detail) and essential canvas as a support. Therefore nor ear neither earring are feasible here ... I should try at least a different sheet.

Dear D Akey, this is a quite different movie probably, say "Officer and (not) gentleman", but the protagonists aren't Richard Gere and Debra Winger in this parody. There's also a citation of Norman Rockwell (guess which one) an a reference to surrealism somehow. I couldn't detail very effectively on such a small size and rough canvas, but the girl's hand is making the Italian gesture saying: what on hell are You doing? what do You want from me? are You stupid or mad. She's curiously just a little surprised, but more annoyed than so ... Not sure I was able to express all thi well enough though. Anyway she's speakin Italian, saying it in Roman slang (read the lips): " ahooò, ma che voi?" .." hey, what do You want from me?"
The officer is obviously pretending he's just an innocent painted figure and it was not him who pawed her backside ...

Your dialogues are fantastic, dear D Akey! ROFL You should write for Scary Movies follows-on or a Frankestein Jr. remake ... Curiously enough, looking back at the girl, she looks a bit like Meg Ryan, Bill Crystal's partner in movie the Harry and Sally, an actress I almost fell in love with (platonically) .
