    Conan

Saw Bertrude's fantastic homage to Frank and dug this off the hard drive and tweaked it somewhat. I'm pretty sure it's a Frank, I first copied this when I was a teenager in 1976 or so... I did a better job then. This one was one of my early ArtRage efforts. I've removed the texture lighting and added noise for the comic book look.

With all the red it really gives the idea of a bloodthirsty barbarian . Very nice painting indeed Congrats

That's what art's about, isn't it -- at some point it's about the relationship between the art and the viewer, sort of like speed dating. (D Akey)

Nice job, very moody. Makes me want to listen to Manowar, their covers owed a lot to Frazetta.

Nice! Don't recall you painting anything but sheep for a while. . . Cool work, laddie. You get your sheep acting like this one, and I'm a sudden vegetarian. . . Conan the Vegetarian, ne'er a shank o' lamb e're to pass these teeth. . .

WOW! A Woo-Conan! I like this Frazetta interpretation and somehow this character may represent You too, with Your capability to keep strong and to face any life adventure and adversity. Take care, dear Neil!
