    Red face Adieu, Brazil too!

Game's up for them too ... Germans are grateful for the warm welcome and hosting I guess and will ever like the country and happy memories. I'm sad for Brazilian supporters and friend, but as for anyone, no matter how much You pride You may have: "sic transit gloria mundi" (so the glory of the world passes over, more or less) and the Confederation Cup curse worked again ....

CHEEKY. Caesar. Poor. Brazil. Anyway. 7 is a lucky number so Prehap's they come to their sences
And start playing and not cheating on the Ref's. As they should be like they used to be. But now the playing fields the world over are getting closer. So it not so easy as England has found out. Ok

Go Robbin go man and show them I'm sorry that your not as young. But still great

Someone had something to say also about Robben and asked me to think of a vignette. Guess who and have a look.

Love the pan over her goal keeper. That is a play on words in English, in addition to the other connotations of protection and getting cooked and not being able to afford any clothes after a gambling debt. And "getting panned" means being disapproved of and rejected.

She has a nice profile still though. But as Shakespeare coined the phrase, "the apparel makes the man" or lady in this case.

I still get a chuckle about the diver wearing Speedos and a water cap on the football pitch, making us question which sport we're watching.

Well I certainly remember the original version, now this one is more covered due to the debacle but I cannot help thinking what would have been the version in the Brazil winning scenario Dear Caesar

Dear D Akey, I wish I had You as art director (and even to have had one), because You have the supernatural power to widen the merits of my vignettes and pun beyond the limits of my brain and knowledge and You start making me admire my outcomes as they were smarter and richer than they appear. To balance though the great Shakespeare sentence, I have to confess that, as we say: the apparel (the most positive and utmost interesting and keen considerations You made) don't make the monkey (the artist in this case)", since my idea introducing the change contained hardly half of what You expressed, which is not that bad at all for me, considering the most valuable intelligence, expertise and culture You show to have under any point of view. My heartfelt thanks to You once again. As we say, if You didn't exist, we should invent You ...

Thank you, dear Kenmo. Brazil was certainly an exceptional place to keep a Soccer World Championship in, although I'm afraid Brazilians now would repent to have warmly and generously hosted an event where they got the worst defeat ever and of any team, they lost their superstar for quite a while and they see Argentina playing the final in their sanctuary. We may only say to them obrigado and wish them they promptly set up a team avenging all this soon not for a stupid, excessive and nationalistic "big country" pride, but for their own, right self-confidence and the friendly admiration of all of us dreaming with so many of their greatest champions and legends.

It would have been a teasing question indeed, dear Andrea, and I suspect You would have been watching every quarter the After 9 Section to intercept her joyful celebration of the victory, but, alas, fate didn't allow it to happen and the sanctity of the two popes prevailed and plays in the final match ...LOL

A pan containing a panoply of blessings, bliss and beatitudes, dear Belvrog! Anyone else liking to become a chef?Thank You!
