    The old, classical one! Good choice and painting.
    I'm not sure the remake will have the same success and avoid the usual excess in dark atmospheres, moods and dazzling effects, that movies of this period tend to have and which, not leaving anything to creative imagination, hope or positive thoughts, are often detrimental for the stories and the characters.
