The big 4.5 update is on its way, and will include a few things that people have been hoping for. This is a free update to ArtRage 4, and we will make it available for download through the member area when it is released (so make sure that you have registered there).


The major features included will be:

  • 64 Bit Support - We will be introducing a 64 bit version that is significantly faster and better able to handle large files.
  • Live Pencil Tilt - Live tilting as you draw with stylus that support this feature
  • Grids - A grid overlay as you draw, with a Snap To Grid option.

  • Improvements to Multitouch in Mac OS X
  • Faster undo speeds!
  • Move and duplicate resources in categories
  • Drag and drop Pinboard and Toolbox shortcuts
  • A Font Picker with font previews
  • Misc bug fixes




Windows XP Users
We will no longer be supporting Windows XP and you will not be able to install 4.5. We will continue to make 4.0.6 available through the members area for you. We are also working on a similar solution for Steam users.
