    layers

    Ok guys how do i load a pic onto a layer and keep my bottom layer, when i try it loads as a new painting.

    There isn't a function currently to import an image to a specific layer, but you can cheat!

    Create a new layer
    Load your pic as a tracing image
    With the new layer selected, click the arrow down the bottom to the right of "Edit Tracing Paper" to open the menu.
    Select "Convert tracing image to paint on this layer"

    That should do the trick!

    Hi Dave it worked but when i merge the top layer it goes over the bottom layer i might have to draw it on the layer, i've been trying Paint.Net out and i wanted to see how it would turn out, i'll send you the 2 pics can you have a play and let me know how you go is that ok.
