    Good doggie! Who's a good doggie. . . yes, whoooooseeee a good doggieeee! There's a good poochie. . .

I mean it's a remarkable doggie! Funny how our pets take on our appearance some. . . your doggie is quite abstract, just like his dad. . . And you know he has to be looking forward to your retirement. . . You'll be a team. . . He'll flush out your ideas and you'll flesh 'em out BANG! Fetch!

This is a helluva painting, Gxh. . . I saw it and marveled. Don't have a reason for you, though I could say where I've seen you develop over the years -- the colors are getting really, really good and color was not your strong suit at the beginning when you first started hanging out here. It's really flavorful. I also greatly like this composition. Your visual vocabulary has become your own rather than playing other people's notes. You may be playing similar songs, so to speak, but you've made them your songs now. And the overall feel is confident, not so tentative or general. If I was only a rare drinker of alcohol, I would be opening a bottle of champagne.

Brilliant. But keep working hard because there's lots more to come, I'd reckon. But keep this sensibility on one of the front burners.

    Hi Gary...
Well, Probably worn out by now and having a comfortable nap, if you hear a muffled bark or see a sudden jerk of a paw, it's just a Doggies dream of the next play time.
Dig the colors........looking for a larger wall dear friend!
    Take care,
    Steve

Thanks DAkey..that is one of the nice things about your comments, as you have seen my digital artistic development over quite a period of time and over 320 images... and I am looking forward to a time with the ability to focus more time on artistic research and painting time.. and even playing with natural media again.. and I will share a split of champagne with you and continue to work hard...

That's what art's about, isn't it -- at some point it's about the relationship between the art and the viewer, sort of like speed dating. (D Akey)

I can see the track as that doggie is fraping (frantically running around the place) my dog would do that at about 6 pm every evening

You certainly succeeded to convey all the joyful and empathetic feelings we have looking at a dog playing, by running and chasing, by accelerating and swerving in its race behind a thrown object or by fake fights with another friendly dog, among excited sniffing of mutual knowledge or by exploring with his nose the marvellous olfactory painting of the nature he can perceive in all its rich palette of flavours.
This painting is an axtraordinary artpiece. It's Your dog's and our own sentiment when we can simply, suddenly and powerfully appreciate and enjoy the blessing of life in all its greatness, in peace with our body, mind, heart and soul!
    Panta rei (everything flows)!

So sorry to hear you have lost your lovely dog Marilyn Anne. 14 years is a long time to be a part of your family.

"A good dog never dies, he always stays,
he walks besides you on crisp autumn days
when frost is on the fields and winter's drawing near,
his head within our hand in his old way."
