Fun Project - Goblets - Another on the 3rd Sept!

A wonderful artist I follow on Facebook did an exercise where he painted the same simple object 25 times. He chose a goblet. It was amazing how many versions he came up with and of such variations in his style. I thought it might be fun and others might like to participate.

I downloaded this one off the net as I can't find the one I actually own. I have tried to find who to attribute this photo to, but cannot get a definitive owner.

Have a go and post it here, it could be fun! You can put this goblet in any context you like.

Here is my first one. Sadly AR crashed before I saved it, so this is only a small snip. I'll post each one I do, and you can too.

Interesting excercise indeed and Your outcome is obviously already impressive.
25 times are too much to me, though, and the best I did was to paint three times with three different tools the same reference image, what my limited patience allowed to me and only because the subject was a sex-appealing lady naked with a minimal lingerie ...
    Panta rei (everything flows)!

    Your rendition is lively

You truly have breathed life into an inanimate object.

Beautiful Dear Robyn, I love how you "break" colors

That's what art's about, isn't it -- at some point it's about the relationship between the art and the viewer, sort of like speed dating. (D Akey)
