    Cafe by the Sea

Mediterranean of my mind, a place where the seekers, dreamers, lovers and loners converge and spend idle time dreaming of their past sins or thinking about future accomplishments....

I modeled the Cafe Village and the buildings in the distance in Hexagon3D. The arch I modeled in Groboto3D.

A digital illustration based on a 3D render and some digital painting techniques. Software used Vue Complete 2014, DAZ3D Studio, Photoshop Elements 11, ArtRage 4...

That's what art's about, isn't it -- at some point it's about the relationship between the art and the viewer, sort of like speed dating. (D Akey)

Nice sense of air. And pulling Venice up out of the water and drying it off is a great endeavor. Beautiful city.

Your scene is very beautiful. Colorful and detailed yet not cluttered. I'll have a 3D Cinzano, thanks.

Journey from Desperation to Hope - inspired by the era of the Great Depression in North America, where many fled the farms and rural country homes to seek employment and prosperity in the urban cities of the USA and Canada...

Drawn digitally by hand using Artrage 4.0 and my Wacom Intuos tablet. Color correction using Photoshop Elements and Topaz Adjust plugin. For the tress I used my stencils which are available for downloading in this forum...
