That latest one is really funny. I love it. Hey, congrats on all the work and publicity. You certainly deserve it.

It's her, of course, including the oblique, perhaps wry, kind of smile.
I didn't remind of her perfectly, so I checked ...
I see You preferred not to over-emphasize her eyes, not to distract from her mouth, right?

    Hi Caesar,

I did try to make her eyes bigger but it didn't look right. I actually did several takes before I got satisfied with the result. The specific smile is obviously her main feature. Thanks for you comment.

    Hi everyone,

I am back today with two caricatures of french artists. A comedian and a musician/singer : Gad Elmaleh and Serge Gainsbourg.

First class all the way. I was hoping you were not getting rusty as I was concerned that you haven't posted in a while. However, I can see you're getting better if that's even possible. More dynamism I think. More feeling possibly. Your technique has always been great. But you're acting more perhaps? It's been a while and I can't recall. The last I remember was the tribute to that poor murdered artist group so you couldn't go too comedic with that. But these are really amusing.

    Great stuff.

    Thanks a lot D Akey !

I didn't stop drawing but worked on several projects that I cannot talk about yet. I hope I will be able to show some of the stuff I did very soon !
Thanks again for you comment. I try to put more emotions in my paintings, especially in that of Serge Gainsbourg. I tried to gather all the iconic stuff that defined him as a public figure (cigarettes, alcohol, music and women (in the smoke as the shape of the Gitane logo)) and put them in the canvas.
