    Chinese watercolor

I stumbled. across a book that strummed a few innerstrings: Lian Quan Zhen - Chinese Landscape Painting Techniques for Watercolor published by North Light Books... It is simply fascinating. Any ideas of o colour palette that would contain the colors mentioned there: like Mineral Green, or Mineral Indigo?

I found a rudimentary colour palette generator at: http://tinyurl.com/n9eaqa6

    Would this do?

Interesting link. I found that it didn't necessarily give the colors from a pic I linked to, but rather it substituted a simpler color one it had on file or found. So in the event that Victor's picture gets replaced and the colors don't quite do it, there may be a place online that generates colors based on real world oil paint colors or whatever.

I don't know since I've never had a use for automated palettes because they usually go contrary to my personal color choices (for good or ill) and I end up fighting the color which is against my religion.

came across this online store http://www.manluenchoon.guru/painting-colour.html , that has a few color charts too, aditional to the products... still could not find those Minerals (at least not in the languages I understand :-) ... i just suppose that the pigment(Force) is strong with this ones :-) ... but i got a more detailed description of modern chinese paint in the following http://www.blueheronarts.com/product...roducts_id=107, gives some insight about pigment and media behaviour.
