    An apple a day.....

This apple believe it or not was one of my experiments in line and wash - I kept applying layers of colour and it got away from me and started looking shiny so I let it have it's head and finished up with a juicy red apple instead. Watercolour and a little airbrush and one of the new glitters Someonesane so generously made available.

Awesome! That's a great looking apple. Nice and shiny. Regardless of what your original intention was, you now know what you can do in this direction when more worked. Love the subtleties in the skin and leaf. And the subtle reflected light on the sides is very very good. You have a keen eye.

Thank you Silvy, Copespeak and Mr. Akey - that is indeed praise coming from you - I will reflect on your comments when I feel disheartened.

Caesar. . . I will assume the pig is lying atop the rapier. . . I choose to believe that. . . A cautionary tale of how bobbing for apples with the 3 Musketeers can be a precarious endeavor when they're in their cups (been drinking down the tavern). Do not try this at home.
