Bodice - iPad with touchup on desktop

Inspired by a book on fashion (was in the apparel industry). It was fun sitting by the fireplace with my iPad and ArtRage and creating this. I can always do more to any of my illustrations in ArtRage but, the fire was going out.

I just can't say enough about ArtRage! My ninth attempt at illustration and my God I so love it.

As this one opened, John Denver was singing away on the radio "Take me home, Country Rose. . ." Talk about taking stage 'on que'. . .

I got the notion and I second that emotion. I'll take that rose all the way home. Delightful image of feminine pulchritude. . . ah yeeeessssss. . .

Leave us not overlook "Wish fulfillment" as a prime motivator for painting, song lyrics, movies, TV, books etc etc.

    Nicely painted!

Ahh yes. the crop. Well, the dress was the focus actually so I think it is ok. It's really great getting feedback from the "senior members" of the group! Thanks.
