    Thanks to all you lovely people for the encouragement. I'm yet to find my style - if I have one. But I will keep experimenting with watercolours especially, tho I love the oils too. Having no experience of watercolours in the real world is a handicap but I have found some great hints on this site. When I feel brave enough I will offer one up for a critique.

    Thanks to all of you - I've looked at your galleries and admired your wonderful work. It's inspirational as well as a little disheartening. I will never paint as well but do hope to improve.

    JustJean - I notice you have painted some beautiful flowers in watercolour - the colours are so vibrant - do you use one of the regular WC brushes or have you customised your own?

    Any WC tips from anyone would be very much appreciated.
