Sketchbook - Mountain practice with use Knife tool

    Welcome
I started to just practice painting knife and brush. I think that these tools are most suitable for painting in ArtRage. Please, your insights.

I think these look great! There is a sharp style to the way you did the angles of the mountain faces, rather like faceted gemstones are cut this way. Were you to do a whole painting and use this look in the mountains for example, I would try painting the whole painting with a similar sensibility -- at least in part so it's not an isolated look in a softer blended painting for example. But that's just my personal opinion.

I really like this look. Very successful experiment. ArtRage does this well. You have to love the tools they created for Artists.

I love the crisp edges of these, especially the middle one. Nicely done!

You certainly found a flexible and impressive way to perfectly render sharp peaks and mountain chains with the knife.

Really well painted exercises, and you have made the knife do some wondrous things.
