    Hi Kepa,
    Watercoloring is still a mystery to me, just started exploring it recently...
    As for the 'war of the mixtures', think you won the battle, It's a good painting!
    My employers are originaly from Pamplona, so I've been hearing the Basque
    and French languages for years.

    You can mix your colours, but need to use layers, merge down and blend.

    Another nice one. As a suggestion You may work on more than one layer and use watercolor blending mode on the upper layer.

    A very quick watercolor sketch painted this morning in the dentist's waiting room from a photo of my ipad. 15-20 minutes.
