    Rose, After the rain (Ipad)

    After the Rain.

    Done in oils on 8 layers from a traced outline, colours picked from the reference photo.

    Christine, I was just wondering recently what you have been upto as I had not seen any recent posts from you.... this is again a spectacular work, such lushious colors and the dew drops so well done... excellent work!

    Thank you all so much for your very kind comments. Those droplets were fun to do once I got my head around getting that wet look. I did them on there own layer set to replace and 40% thinners.

    Victor, i did this painting with the Adonit Jot script, it has a fine point and is very easy for me to use on fine work. For fluid work I sometimes us a brush style of stylus.

    Wow, stunning details and the bright red really sharp when I blow up the painting and look it from far.
