Very meaningful. A modern, advancedly equipped soldier (a sort of Predator trooper) live together with an ancient time warrior here. Everything changed but mankind still keep an unchanged core, for the good or the bad, and civilization and education is never enough to evolve more quickly since we cannot live long enough to learn all we need to and act consistantly.

Certainly something bit different, with all your beautiful colours contained in black lines. A change is as good as a holiday, they say!

The lad needs to balance the workout at the gym a little. Work on the arms a little. Too much time on the Thigh Master, methinks.

I have written several responses and none quite says it. I'll wait and see when and if this look comes back for other paintings. Personally I find it has not yet landed. It looks abandoned possibly because it doesn't seem to have experienced an end game (chess). For me it's like turning on the TV and catching a football game in the latter part of the second quarter. I get a score and a predominance of marching band. I oddly have this craving to cheer.

An image came into my mind: Italo Calvino's "The Cloven Viscount" (Il Visconte Dimezzato), bravo!
