    Using a stylus pen

I have a touchscreen Windows 8.1 computer and was looking at a Sensu Brush at the Microsoft store today. The clerk was showing me different software that can use this brush. One was Artrage. I didn't buy the brush because I wanted to check out the software. I downloaded the demo and it looks like it's something I'll enjoy using because I can use my monitor like I would a Wacom tablet but my question is, is there some other type of stylus that might work better then a stylus that looks like a paint brush? I have a soft tip stylus but that didn't seem to work that well when trying the demo and I tried the pen that came with my Wacom tablet but that didn't work at all.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Any stylus designed for your computer should work with the product. One that came with your Wacom tablet will only work on a Wacom compatible input device and it sounds like your computer uses a different standard. What model of computer are you using?
