    Fuschia Watercolour

We have a lovely fuschia here so I chose this to play with a watercolour style. Every time I have a practice, I come up with anew method of getting the effect I want.

This work is totally without any stencils or brushes, apart from those offered by Art Rage. I've got a big day with visitors today, but will come back in with some methods ASAP. Attachment 79650Attachment 79651

Wow. You even make it look like you tossed some salt into the watercolor while wet for effect. I'm very impressed.

Hopefully some time down the road you'll do a tutorial?

Aren't those flowers visited by colobri birds? It's lovely and with your skill at drawing creatures I'd love to see a painting of that marvelous little bird too

Thank you to all of you for your comments!

Yes, Mr Akey, I will do a tutorial that might give a few ideas. There is so much blending and merging, and adjusting involved that I can't possibly explain all, but I will try the basics.

Andrea, I am from Australia, so don't have the Colobri Birds, but aren't they beautiful?
