    Pat you've certainly progressed a long way , as this is quite well done, the handling of the water is exceptional as are the rocks and the lady and her dress... very very nice work

    Wonderful colors, Pat! Love the pearly pink reflected light at the back of her dress. It should not be there in reality but it jazzes the color up quite effectively. Really beautiful scene. The colors and brushwork are really nice. Thematically it's interesting in that sailors in bad circumstances can get dashed up on the rocks. It's almost as if she's showing her mixed longing and fears by being there. Good story telling.
