    Interesting study. A skull was a subject used quite often in ancient art.

    I know this is intended to be very rough, so talking a finesse detail is really not necessary. But if you think about it: Because the painting is very painterly in approach, I would break up the flat background wall behind the upper portion of the skull. It doesn't fit with the overall feel. Even some subtle painterly swipes with the brush and a very slightly different color would keep it from looking separate from the painting at large.

    Adjusted a few things. The background is a nod to D Akey. The back edge of table is evident and the darkness adds drama. Caesar your right, I ordered a Human skull replica to study, real ones are out of my price range.
    A couple highlights and dark accents made.
