    Medwyn's classic cars

We had a great classic during the summer - it was a yellow MGB GT called "Charlie". Had a really great time driving it along scenic roads but due to our lifestyle we decided to sell it. This painting is my tribute of Charlie (and I gave a printed copy to the new owner too) - so long, our friend!

Dad blast it, you're on the wrong side of the road again!

Nice work. Really feels like pastels. Love the sharp articulation of the car. . . and a lot of the surrounding area. Looks like that windshield took a lot of careful thinking to keep it from spinning off the road with all that detail.

    Ahhh! Fresh from Abingdon...
Reminds me of a Sales Ad of the time.
Neatly detailed, like the surrounding countyside as well.
Had one as a teen, always working on it, sold it and bought
a 61 Jag XKE...the three SU carbs drove me crazy!
    Nicely done,
    Steve

I like it! The reflections on the windshield look crazy!

Steve, my dad had a pale yellow convertible E-Type! What a lovely car

  5. Great I love the contrast between the sharply and realistically realized car, and the more whimsical (but still well implemented) take on the countryside - it draws focus, along with it's bright colour, to the real focus of the work.

    Thank you
This is another one from Abingdon - a Magnette this time. Whoever had it before told me this is such a bad car, one of them told "Why don't we just push it off the cliff?"
Anyway I like how it looks
My wife was strict about the "picnic corner" so I chose one of my favourite Scottish blanket and some more on it.
