Painting favorite models

Hello James,
I'm just going to try to get the most effective background I can without taking the focus off
my model. But, you've seen my previous paintings, there just has to be something back there.
Your right though, I will keep a minimalist approach in doing it.
Going to think about, and start another one just for practice.

I'm going to get back to her next week, just want to finish at this point!
As for my practice painting, I screwed up and didn't have the correct dimensions I wanted.
So I cropped him, and will start over at another time
