There's a book I would definitely read based on the illustration. What a fanciful story, combining a couple of my favorite situations: fantasy and harnessing wild beast, to create an extraordinary bond to the strengthening of both united. Nice painting. Super colors.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. So glad you're enjoying this painting. This may end up being an illustration eventually.... a reverse illustration that is. I'm thinking about doing a series of paintings and then having writers write a short story based on each painting. It's a bit ambitious considering how long it takes me to finish any goal I set for myself, but I hope this is one that will actually eventually materialize.
