Thread: Photograph help again!

    Photograph help again!

I don't know if anyone can help. Is there anyone who knows of a program that enlarges photos? or could help enlarge this photo without it getting too pixelated?

I'm looking for at least a 4x6. I am not sure it's possible though.. it's such a little photo. But it's one of the only ones with my dad and us kids with him.

    This is the original...

This is what I did to refurbish it a bit... and this is the one I'd like to enlarge somehow.

I'll give it a try. Gimme a few minutes

The last time I kept an open mind,
my brain fell out and the dog grabbed it.
Now it's full of dirt, toothmarks, and dog slobber.
No more open minds or dogs for me.www.gms9810.com/

This is 6" x 3" @300 ppi. I hope that helps. Scaling it up will make any imperfections more options.

Thank you. I'll work with what you gave me and see if I can pull some of the imperfections out. I have made it a bit of a hobby. Repairing old and damaged photographs is what I've been doing as of late.

This one is one of my favorite fixes.

I like restoring old photos too. I don't use Photoshop due to their criminal prices but I have other things.

    yeah, I don't either. I've been using Picasa, it's a google app that's free.

I use Gimp, also free and it does almost everything PS does and a bit more.

This was as good as I could get it. I sent a copy to my mom to see if she thought it was ok enough. She said it was good enough in her eyes.

We're printing it and giving it to him for Christmas cause it's his favorite picture and he always wanted a bigger version. I'm trying to con my siblings into trying a recreation photo too. One where we all wear similar colors and poses... though, my little sister couldn't sit on his lap now. You'd not be able to see me! she's as tall as me. LOL we'll figure something out if I can get them to.

    Hi Megan
I maybe a bit too late here but started to have a go at this a day or two ago but then life and jobs got in the way!
    This is what I've got so far. It's 9.35" x 4.92" @200dpi
As you can see I still need to start on the right hand side.
I could probably do more this weekend, (if you like it so far that is) but that maybe won't leave you time for printing…
