Hi June, The African Painted dog is a very stunning dog! Is it a wild breed? It kind of looks ferocious about the eyes or am I reading too much into it.

Hi Sue, yes it is also known as African Wild Dog and according to Wikipedia " hunter of antelopes, which it catches by chasing them to exhaustion."
