    Eye catching color.

Serves both the interesting look of your piece, as well as editorially reflecting Wilde's colorfulness that we know historically was at odds with the comparative colorlessness of Victorian male society.

    Sensational debut pic here!

Thanks for the links Hanzz. . .

    Very edgy stuff, Bob!

    Scathing, even.

    Well done.

    Always found your field fascinating.

So when working, what are your deadlines like?

Did/do you have to come up with something daily?

How much editorial direction were you given usually?

A real pleasure to have discovered you.

Wow, what a welcome! Many thanks to you all; I hope not to disappoint your expectations (which are mine too) and to take advantage of this inspirational software to make steady improvements and explorations.

D Akey: you make the right questions: I work as a contributor from my home. I receive articles by mail or keep telephone directions about the issues that needs illustraition. The deadlines are sometimes really "deadly", like a color illustration to do from 10 pm to be delivered before 8 am. Crazy, isn't it?.
More usually I have a day lapse to do it, but even though I make no "versions" for a work; the idea I start with is the one I must finish with.

Until 1997 I used to work at the news desk on a daily basis just like any other journalist, with pencils and Rapid-o-graph instead of typerwiters. It was an exciting job, plenty of adrenaline and frustraition (as you can't expect to do a masterpiece every day), but a lovely one.
Now, the newspapers market is shrinking and the job scatters. Maybe sometime in the future, the digital world will fill its place and will develop new jobs for a new generation of digital news illustraitors. If so, I'm sure ArtRage will be a the right choice for the job!
