    Almost home

Seen a photo of the horse standing by a fence and thought he might look good coming out of the woods

    Blimey, JustJean!!!!!!!!

Did you take an Art Pill? Those were supposed to be outlawed. . . JustJean James rides again.

These last ones are great and getting better and better and better -- galloping their artistic way into the . . . um. . . OK Corrallery. . . The realm of "Woah! What a painting!"

I'm so excited watching how you're gaining control of subtlety and owning every square inch of your paintings and being able to create atmosphere with the right amount of contrast and color and staging, and not stepping all over a desired effect, but rather really nailing it.

    This one is spectacular.

The last time I saw a horse that poignant it was emerging riderless from a misty forest in Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai" ...

Well, your painting encourged me to call my Daughter, she trains horses and riders, made me hunt around the house for one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies, 'with a interesting ending'.
So, thanks for making it a very fulfilling evening for me,
    Again, love the painting!
