Autumn Jalopy

Been too busy with my photography and tooling on my 1960 Corvette. The old car was getting a little hard starting and left me stranded at gas station after coming home from a car show. I had to have her towed home. Thought it was a starter and so I replaced. However the problem continued. A few weeks ago kid brother (57 years old) who has been a mechanic and shop foreman for 35 years helped me pull the transmission and bellhousing. The flywheel was badly worn. So she's lad up for the coming Canadian winter and I'll start rounding up a flywheel and some clutch parts...

I finally had some time to fire up Artrage and I worked over an old painting using ArtRage and got these results...

I used a photo I shot of a 1941 Hudson at a local car show as reference...

Cheers and nice to be back among friends... although the Corvette Forum has seen alot of me lately with all of my dopey car queries...;-)

Forgive me, but am I the only one to see the blood coming from the hood? Might be the problem with it is you're feeding it veggies and it thrives on meat. Needs the protein. And just 'cause the leaves look bloody red, you'll never fool a proper carnivore.
