Ah yes. Dave Stevens who did the graphic novel(s?) used Bettie Page as an inspiration for the look from that era. Jennifer Connolly was a good choice I think because of her look fitting that era so well. And you have to love brunettes in graphic novels. Gives a great opportunity to pull out some variant of cerulean blue for the hair highlights. Always fascinated me as a kid whenever they used blue like that. Brill Cream was still around so greasy kid stuff was all the rage -- and reflecting the sky along the pattern of the hair.
You did a really nice job on her. . . that is to say, if that's the way to put it. . . yeah, I mean, you rendered her well. Now strap on that jet pack, I think I see a dirigible, and hello. . . there's a brunette pressed precariously against the rail!!!! Wooooohooooooo!!!!!! Go man go!!!!!!
