Jawdroppingly beautiful, both the actress ( I remind to have seen her somewhere) and Your painting!

Panta rei (everything flows)!
Really gorgeous your last two portraits.
I really like the material consistency of the first and the dark contrast. One question: is he Lee Majors?
Jennifer Connelly as well as being a talented actress is also very beautiful. Your picture captures very well both
WOW Steve another beautiful lady, her gaze is fantastic, great portrait, just love all your paintings

Hi Scott....Thank you for checking out my paintings. 'BR' is one of my favorite movies
so from time to time...one appears!
Take care,
Steve
wonderful work steve, I find it interesting that you chose a flat off green to play against the reddish skin tones, while her face is 3D and stage lit the background is solid and flat, this makes for an interesting tension. flat against modeled painting...
Ah yes. Dave Stevens who did the graphic novel(s?) used Bettie Page as an inspiration for the look from that era. Jennifer Connolly was a good choice I think because of her look fitting that era so well. And you have to love brunettes in graphic novels. Gives a great opportunity to pull out some variant of cerulean blue for the hair highlights. Always fascinated me as a kid whenever they used blue like that. Brill Cream was still around so greasy kid stuff was all the rage -- and reflecting the sky along the pattern of the hair.
You did a really nice job on her. . . that is to say, if that's the way to put it. . . yeah, I mean, you rendered her well. Now strap on that jet pack, I think I see a dirigible, and hello. . . there's a brunette pressed precariously against the rail!!!! Wooooohooooooo!!!!!! Go man go!!!!!!
