AndreaMG, very interesting work the first one has more brush work evident in the face ( I really admire your ability to capture skin tones and form ) and stylized hair , the second while a smoother finish to the face has a more abstract or energetic direction, it seems to me like you are stretching your artistic vision into some new aesthetic language. I feel like we get to witness our artistic metamorphosis ...exciting stuff!

Interesting. It's as if I'm looking at a mandala or one of those ornate pattern filigree which includes faces. Only this clearly is about this particular woman. The color and composition emphasizes that. Only it's innovative. Nice work. Certainly tasteful colors.

Thank you Dear Gary for the kind words , actually I use the color picker in the first stage to speed up things and to remain faithful to the essence of the reference, but later on I pick my own colors to highlight some aspects, to try new looks, etc.
