    Visitors (3 New uploads 3-23-14)

I'm sorry for not being around lately. I do mean to be. I been doing lots of real watercolor.
But here is one I just did this afternoon starting with an abstract background. Just teased it til something came out.

Fantastic feel. The free and sure color marks really makes the scene seem highly flavored. The subject of women in the park dominates but like with seasoning in good cooking, the individual spices enhance the flavor but don't kill the main flavor as is their function of seasoning properly applied. It all sits together brilliantly and sparkles, despite there being nothing dramatic about the subject. It's a slice of life as it were, and quite a tasty one at that. Home cookin'.

Neal, instantly made me imagine I just got home with a set of water paintings of city scenes painted a few decades ago that I had purchased at a obscure antique store! And now finding myself pleasantly surprised when I look at the first one out of the set.
I really like it, Just my Imagination!

    Rivers Edge

Hi, sorry I have not been around much but trying to be now. I been so busy with the music side of things and other stuff. Now that I'm retired I have no time! Actually this is true!
So I thought I would just add to this thread and keep it going for a bit. I have been doing artworks now and then but have been hording them for some reason.
This one called "Rivers Edge" is just kind of a sketch. Hope you like it!Click image for larger version.
