    "Ode to Spring"

Such a long wet winter, and a huge relief that spring is finally here!

Thank you for your kind words SCP.

Our winter has dragged on with wind, rain and cold, and more wind. Today and yesterday were good finally, and I've just come in from a satisfying hour in the veggie garden.

    Really lovely

I love the combination of washes with line drawing. It gives such a delicate effect. Very nice . A reminder too of the difference in our seasons.

Nice technique. Reminds me of the style of an illustrator I once studied under, though your colors are more sophisticated. But he used line and a washy color. You did a good job of it. I like the spontaneity.

Thank you Marylin Anne and Mr Akey.

I am quite enjoying scrubbing away with a dry oil brush + bristles/stiffness. There was a while there where the paint felt wet and real .... like using natural media!

So much gratitude to the guys at Art Rage Central. Really, really clever

Really lovely Robyn however you cannot have spring and certainly not summer because it means us northerners are going to have WINTER/SNOW.
