    Portrait with pastels.

    Hi all
I had forgotten how difficult it is to paint a figure. Here is an attempt done with AR pastels tool.
While my painting is still at beginners level I suspect that this tool, in experienced hands, should give outstanding results. Surprisingly I did not see a lot of pastels on the gallery recently.

What an endearing face! Charming smile and bright eyes. Love it. Well depicted.

    Nice work

I forget about all the different tools and how effective they really are. Very inspiring.

    Thank you.

Thank you Jean, 80+, M. D AKEY, Caesar and Marilyn Anne. Your comments are very kind and encouraging. These comments are particularly valuable when, as it is the case, they come from experimented and talented people.
You are right Marilyn Anne the tool or tools used has no importance but I discovered that I would not have been able to do a portrait with an other medium.
Thanks also to those who did not comment but took the time to have a look on my work.
