    Tasmanian Pademelon

This is a sketch of an Tasmanian Padelmelon that I photographed when on holiday at cradle mountain Tasmania. It is a small Kangaroo type marsupial. It came right upto our cabin and was very friendly....Hope you like it
This was done on an intuos 5 tablet using artrage. I used the spray gun and blurring to try to get the shading, and the pencil tool set to full tilt to give an impression of fur...Stuart

No not related to the tazzy devil, though they live in the same environment. I may do a devil as well as they are a fantastic animal. Tasmania is beautiful.........

Yeah, we only have the California watermelon here. But yours is tougher in a scrap, I would bet.
So do they kick like a roo?

    Good drawing.

Love that "California watermelon here." They wouldnt be able to kick much as they are too small and most things eat them. They used to be classed as good to eat as they are very low in fat and cholesterol (but people have gone soft and want pork and beef only with maybe a bit of lamb). Ive seen Kangaroo meat in the shopping centre's but mainly for barbeque and dog food. No Pademelon, though we do have watermelon LOL......
