    The Spark In Lucifer's Eye (Concept)

    This morphed from a traditional neo-classic piece to what you see now. 2 finished layers, tho each is a combination of several layers on its own. Orig. size appx 4200x3600 pxls at 300 ppi. AR4.

    Very clever idea in your use of flames -- and well painted. Never knew Satan had back, as they say in popular song.

    I like the idea of the flames for wings. Very cool. . . er hot. Well, they're flames. . . but cool. . . or something.

    I think it fits in with the sort of taking old monsters and making them young and beautiful for a popular film market like with Buffy and Twilight and Angel and all that lot.

    DAkey, Robyn- Thanks so much for commenting. This is one of a few where I'm trying to work out the visuals. Here is another version - a bit more intense, and illustration-like, I think

    Really fine! Lucifer looks a little "overfed" maybe, but fortunately his stomach isn't on fire ...LOL
