I have been watching the very old film The Tales of Hoffman and have done a couple of painting as my take on parts of this wonderful film. Hope you like this one.

Very strong and a powerful message in its way. I like it very much.

Feels like an eastern European animation. Very expressionistic in a way. I feel like they all will start moving any second.

Also feels like there is a workshop where marionettes make human dancers who they can dance around on strings. . . rather as if the karmic scales got tipped and jumbled up and this was the refashioning of reality by those who did not know the previous natural order of things. . .

All very old school as if Moara Shearer's agent got her a guest spot on the original Star Trek and the sci-fi writers were told, "Right, you all know Star Trek. . . well this guest star, Miss Shearer, treks around in Dance. So get writing you lot. You there, new writer, Hoffman is it? Start spinning some tales. We start shooting in the morning 6:00am sharp. Don't just sit there. . . Create. . . CREATE. . ."
