    Portrait

    Hi there, did this quick portrait to get me back to painting, no refs used. Hope you'll like it. Anxious to hear what you think of it. Hope you are all doing fine.

    Hi an Thanks much matey+, hmmmm, at the risk of ditching the questions metaphysical foundation, I would say....... its a painting with a drawing underneath. What made you think about it? Slainte!

    Well me old mate been having Mac on my ear hole about a painting or drawing so I

    Bunged it in your Court. To see what. you would say. as you know more about that

    So you are the guy who's bunging things in my court??

    I'd say its a combination of what tools you're using AND where you put your main focus on in your drawing/painting. Drawings consist of lineworks and shading like pencil drawings, paintings are built around color, color appliance, and pretty much anything else derived from that. So you could also say painting is more about volume and areas, drawing more about shapes, but thats not picturing it completely. Slainte!

    Well, I love it.
    She looks like a character for what could become an animated story - has that look about her - real, but stylized with a distinct personality around which a story is about to develop.
