On The Rocks With A Splash

First landscape I have completed in quite a while. From scratch, just a place I imagined. 2 layers, merged. Orig size 4200x3200 pxls at 300 ppi. AR4. Oils. I Love/Hate landscapes- For me, there is so much work to get them to look right.

It's beautiful Skylar. And yes, landscapes are ... ummm ... demanding :-)

    L Skylar Brown,
What a pleasing woodland scene this is. Just love the engaging
waterfall, tranquil and relaxing. An inviting, well done piece.

Skylar, nice to hear from you again, this is a very fine landscape and adding the human scale/interest of the dog gives it an added dimension.

I like the harmonious palette throughout. Feels like the landscape and the dog belong together. Of course following the water up into the picture which leads to the dog is a great leading of the eye through and into the pic. Nice work.
