    Landscape with chair

Working with the gloop pen. I'm not sure the flowers work with the gloop pen, at least I counldnt get them to after several tries. Sigh!

This a reworking of an old painting which I may have posted a couple of years ago, maybe, possibly!

    Great textures!

I dunno. The flowers look okay to me but they don't have the outline kind of gloop effect. Might be the size has to be larger where it defies tiny detailed work as opposed to it being from the choice of bright colors? Just guessing.

Anyway, the overall effect is kinda cool -- like a cross between a water color and woodcut.

nice work Brett, I find the gloop pen a bit difficult, but your flowers work within the style of this work..

A really interesting and attractive effect Brett. Yes, maybe the flowers need the same treatment, but overall, it's unique and very well done!

    Thanks everyone.

I reworked it but I think I have just made it fussier/messier? It is an interesting to me as a style though.

    Time to move on :-)

Brett, nice second effort, but I really like the restraint in the first one, seems cleaner and simpler to my eye. but if I had not seen it first the second work is still impressive

    Thanks Robyn.

Thanks Gary. I am in two minds (not to mention two paintings) about this.

I'll try another one and see how that goes.
