    Embroider

    Just experimenting with creating wood texture for embroidery hoop. Used one of my older paintings for the design.

    Thank you all for your kind comments. I have never done embroidery but for some reason I got thinking about it, but more for the embroidery hoop and getting a wood texture for it. I had used a stencil to get the oval shape just so and then used the roller and the oil brush with the stiff bristle mode. A little tweaking with the flat knife made the wood seem to pop. The cloth has texture from the canvas selection. When I was finished with this painting, I made a sticker of it just for the fun of it. I don't know why but stickers seem to add another dimension to a painting.
