    Butterflies redux

    When I did my last butterfly it was suggested that I do a series. I thought that might be fun so I submit my second entry:

    I probably should have started with something less ornate but I did this one. It took me 4 days to finish. Sorry, Akey, I didn't intend to delete the other thread

    The butterfly (or is it a moth?) looks gorgeous. The texture of the body and wings is excellent. And I especially like the colour and texture of th background. What a lot f work you have put into this piece.

    The colors were sampled from an image so they're close to right. I like to give it about 10% metallic because it brings out the canvas texture but it seems to darken the colors a bit.
