Ok, this is the first thing I've made that I'm happy with, and I've decided my preferred medium are markers.

The last time I kept an open mind,
my brain fell out and the dog grabbed it.
Now it's full of dirt, toothmarks, and dog slobber.
No more open minds or dogs for me.www.gms9810.com/

i love butterfly a lot since kid, i remembered i caught the first one when i was just 5 years old as my grandpa taught me about all different kinds of buttefly. also, what i like about butterfly is, it never stays still, keep moving. one of the very inpirational insect to me you painted so beautiful and so detail also love how you did that texture.

It's really good. You sure should be happy with it. Terrific on all fronts.

It's great to see your progress here. You should be very proud of this excellent painting. Try a series on butterflies, you do them very well.

my mother would want this tattooed on her arm. She loves butterflies. She's trying to make a whole sleeve of art. She's 52 years young and a 7 year survivor.

very pretty blues and detailing done here.

I like how you kept the symmetry from looking mechanical in this one, even in the background which is subtle but visible. It all works great.

I mean I like the perfect symmetry in general when it works for the pic, but this feels very hand done as a result of the different lines in the wings. Love the paper textures as well. You should be proud of it. Well done.

I'm a nut about symmetry too, I crave it in everything, that hampers my artistic ability too. I'm tempted to draw everything symmetrically, but the world doesn't work that way. I made an effort here to not draw it that way.
