    My oldest daughter's card

I know this is kind of simple but I made it for my oldest daughter's birthday. The neat part, to me at least, is that I drew all of it free handed, no tracing or reference drawing.

The last time I kept an open mind,
my brain fell out and the dog grabbed it.
Now it's full of dirt, toothmarks, and dog slobber.

Love the colours and the composition, and especially I like that pink butterfly on the right side. Beautiful card!

Butthead No. 1! I was just saying to my fella when I saw this, how you started worrying about how good you were at drawing when you began using AR, and now you can pop up with this beauty.

I love personalised cards and make them often for family and friends. I also make a small version and load them onto their Facebook page.

That's what I did to this one, facebooked it. I've been doing the rough drafts with Xara designer then using it as a reference and I haven't rigidly tried ti stay in the lines, it's more fun that way.

I'd like to thank everybody for the encouragement. I've watched other other people's artwork posts and what I do is 3rd grade work. But because of your encouragement some day I'll draw like a 5th grader, then an then an 8th grader then high school then good enough to call myself a budding artist.
